i guess i see the two as good #2 receivers. I would not invest 10mil in either guy. Both are good but not great. They also both have outstanding qbs

Good receiver. But no way in frick is he worth $10m/year. That money is reserved for WR1s.

Nelson is more deserving of a 3 year 13.35 mil contract. He's a legit #1. Decker is not.

Your post is confusing...because 3 year/13.35M is not legit #1 money.

He's worth that to the Jets or Dolphins. Cmon now, pay the man.

Ireland is probably pissed he got fired before he could give Decker 14 mil a year to get overthrown by Tannehill.

is more of a product of Manning than anything.

Decker performed well with Kyle Orton and Tim Tebow - he is more than just a product of Peyton.

He's not worth $10M, but I don't think he's a system-only scrub like some are making him out to be ITT.

He is a good WR.

All depends on the market and team. Look at Mike Wallace he signed for 5 years / $60 million with the Miami Dolphins. He is making $15 million in 2014.

8 TDs with Tebow and Orton is good production. Orton and Tebow suck.

How can a guy who can't stay on the field be worth more than a guy who can? Anyone who gives Nicks more than a #2 deal is insane. It doesnt matter how much physical talent he has, he absolutely cannot stay on the field.

He's a #2 wide receiver in the NFL that will get paid as a #1 based on recent production and someone reaching... The New York Jets are a possible landing spot, and we see how desperate they are for a quality wide receiver. It's highly unlikely he stays in Denver because we will only re-sign and pay him as a #2.

Some games he is unstoppable, some games he is virtually invisible... He has a tendency to display stone hands, but he has good speed for a big wide receiver and he is very physical.
