How can a guy who can't stay on the field be worth more than a guy who can? Anyone who gives Nicks more than a #2 deal is insane. It doesnt matter how much physical talent he has, he absolutely cannot stay on the field.

Not to mention the fact that he can't catch for shite, despite having hands the size of dinner plates.

Decker to me would be like Pierre Garcon.

I think this is a good comparison. Good size, average speed. Definitely not worth $10 mill a year but if he can get it more power to him.

Pierre garçon led the league in receptions and was 8th in yards

He also ran a 4.37 and 4.42 at the combine and was at the top of every drill there amongst WRs

Huh...just looked it up. I stand corrected. He just never seemed that fast to me.

His agent is just hoping a team is dumb enough to overpay.

Yeah, you wouldn't think. Only reason I know because he went 80 some odd yards on a screen against the saints in RG3's first game as a pro. He's pretty fast

what does everyone think hakeem nicks is worth? assuming healthy?

wonder how much coin he'll command considering he's only scored 3 TD's in the last 2 seasons.

I think he's a damn good receiver.

He looked solid even with Tebow throwing to him.

I'm not sure if he's worth that price, but he's being underrated on here.

Yeah, Garcon is legit and underrated. Not to mention he was a huge reason why I won my fantasy league this year. Yep, I'm that guy who mentions fantasy in the middle of a real NFL discussion.

I just don't think of him as a pure WR1. He should consider going to a system like Detroit,Cleveland,Carolina or even DC [if the drama with RG3 dies down].

With that being said, I think he ends up in Tennessee because of the wife being a country music star.

Hell no. He had a big year because he had one of the best QB's to ever play the game throwing to him. Another reason for that big year is because he wasn't the number one option. He has D Thomas and J Thomas and Welker taking away most of the attention and he just feeds off of it. He isn't a number 1 guy in anyone's offense. Maybe Jacksonville but come on, that's not happening. Not a number one receiver and can't separate from coverage and get off the press.

Someone's going to reach and pay him.

If I'm in his shoes and looking to move. I'd head to Detroit. They just released Burleson and don't have a true WR2. Not to mention, Megatron & Bush will command the most respect. Decker's numbers could stay in the same range as they were in Denver.
