Cam's the most annoying, that's for sure.

Cam is just as important to the Panthers' success as Keuchly and Norman, imo.

Can a Panther fan tell me what is wrong with my ranking of players on your team? Legitimately curious.

Keuchly is the best player on the team. I think we can all agree.
Norman is playing like the best CB in the league thus far
Kalil is an all pro center, highest rated on PFF
Olsen is a top 3 TE. I personally think he's right behind Gronk.
Then I'd put Cam behind them.

Panthers lose Monday night to Indy without Luke. 20something NFL Qbs could have won that game for the Panthers. Real MVP status lol.

What has he done, to be considered of the award? He is no different than Russell Wilson managing the game and making key runs for the Seahawks when they had a dominant defense. Only Russell was better. And no one ever wanted to name him MVP. It's because he makes Super Man signs, flips over people, and is all around flashy. His actual production this year is MEDIOCRE.

I gave two different lists though. One listing best players on the team, the other was for MVP of the team this year.

I think Norman is the MVP of that team this year.
Then Cam.
Then Olsen
Kuechly has missed too much time to be ahead of him

But ranking best players on the team I'd say cam is 4th-5th.

Disagree about Kuechly. They likely lose to the Colts without him and aren't undefeated. Almost any QB in the league wins that game for Carolina. If you want to name Norman team MVP I'm fine with it though. Certainly isn't Cam.

Jesus Christ.

Between the "cuz" and "lol" posts coming from you, to go along with a lack of general football knowledge, I'm just going to assume you're around 17 years old.

Dude, I've been sticking up for Cam in this thread, but he's not MVP material imo.

The OP asks whether he is the most overrated, and I just disagree with his implication that Cam is.

The reason why is because I'm not using sensationalist media as a primer to start rating Cam.

He's an incredibly talented QB who plays for a franchise that is reluctant to give him supremely talented offensive threats. He obviously cares because the guy sacrafices his body to get into the endzone, and his teammates obviously look up to him.

I'm just not going to look at his stats in a vacuum.

Look I give Cam credit for keeping the ship afloat despite a lack of weapons at WR. But incredible? No man no. He's a game manager

I don't know that he is an MVP candidate or the next best NFC qb, but you can't just take away part of his game to evaluate him as a player. His running ability makes him the player that he is. It compliments the rest of his game. To make an analogy, it doesn't make sense to say that Brett Favre was a mediocre player because if you take away his arm strength he really just makes some questionable decisions. Scam Newton is a pretty mediocre passer, but if you pair it with his running ability he is a fairly dangerous and effective player.

Disagree with your Hero being named MVP, back it up with stats, provide reasons why he isn't, ask you to provide reasons he is, but I'm "17 with no football knowledge." Sign of having no rebuttal and knowing your argument is lost baw. It's okay to admit you just want Cam to be MVP because you want to lick his peep but it isn't going to happen. Sorry baw.

I'm saying he's overrated as in he shouldn't be mentioned as a serious MVP candidate, or as someone in the same breath as the top QBs in the game.

He's talented, but is being overrated right now. He's been basically the same player since joining the league. That's my point.

Do I honestly think Kaep is as good? frick no. But that pic comparing them is interesting when you think about something they both lack which is accuracy. The best QBs all have great accuracy. Kaep is being shite on in part for his lack of accuracy, while Cam who is also inaccurate is being praised.

I've yet to see one person in this thread who thinks Cam should even be an MVP candidate post a reason why. Other thanx"he's awesome" or posting links to media clamoring for it because he's black, fast, and flashy. At least myself and others have laid out reasons we disagree with it. Your rebuttals are "he is good you don't know what you're talking about" and "you must not have football knowledge." It's insanely baffling to me. Provide an argument that the mediocre QB should be MVP or GTFO.

He hasn't done enough to be considered an MVP candidate. It is asinine to think he should be near Brady, Dalton, or Rodgers right now

Hell, Carr and Palmer should be ahead of him too.

He has the 29th best passer rating in the nfl for qualified passers (44th overall)

Pretty sure he is near the bottom of completion % and yards per attempt but I can look at the moment. He does run sometimes though!
