Boxing is a much more brutal sport than UFC. Boxing has figured out the exact rules and equipment recipe to make sure guys endure the most physical brutality for 10-15 3 minute rounds.

UFC has far less measures in place but most combinations of ways to defeat your opponent while still protecting the contestants.

That's silly. What's boxing's equivalent for a spinning heel kick to the jaw?

Or having a monster like yoel Romero knee you in the face and then pound your head into the canvas?

Or two boxers looked like this going into the last round

While probably true, He never said he would. Conner & his fanboys were the one saying Conner could beat Floyd in a boxing match, & we all saw what happened.

Also remember when Ronda Rousey could beat Floyd? Lmao

Boxing has no credibility and is ran by organized crime. The best fighters never fight in their prime. Adrien Broner is a big name because of his comb! MMA is learning all of the arts, boxing included.

I don't watch UFC much but they could be boxing and jabbing and all of a sudden one of them kicks the other one in the head, so I would say yes.

Around 500 boxers have died in the ring or due to injuries in the ring in the last 100 years. 21 boxers since the year 2000.

This thread is stupid.

Boxing isn't the sport where dudes lay on top of one another for 15-25 minutes.

Never call a fighter (boxer or MMA) a bum (or a pussy) unless you are willing to get in the ring and prove him to be one...

Pretty Boy Floyd Mayweather would seriously hurt a UFC Fighter, making this statement is like saying Anthony Joshua would beat Ken Shamrock or Tito Ortiz, they're both old as Moses.

Same can be said if a boxer is in an MMA fight he’s fricked if he goes to the ground.

Boxer is fricked if they stand too. Kicks and knees/elbows in the clinch will mess a boxer up in no time flat.

Boxing is more brutal for one reason; The standing 8 count.

In MMA, when you have an opponent rocked, you can jump on them and end the fight right there. No ref jumping in the middle of things, after you've already been concussed, to give you time to get back on your feet and get hit again and again, which is what happens in boxing.

It's why you don't hear of many punch drunk MMA guys, but tons of boxers w/ that issue.
