Is Boston primed to make a run at the title for a few years?

This team isn't going to be easy to put away against Golden State or Houston if they finish off the Cavs. And this is without Kyrie or Hayward. When they come back are the Celtics going to be on the same level as Golden State?

Won’t be on the same level as Golden State, but the matchup will be enticing.

Stevens v. Kerr is a huge advantage for the Celtics

No one is touching this Golden State team if the core sticks together.

Everybody is playing for second as long as Golden State has a healthy Durant and Curry.

Their style is different from Golden State but they will be the Eastern conference champs for the foreseeable future. I would be surprised if they didn’t win at least one title.

Yes. Don’t think they’ll be as good as Golden State on paper but absolutely in a group with Houston right behind them.

With emerging stars like brown, Tatum, and rozier, to add to two all stars in kyrie and Hayward. I think this Boston team can give the warriors a run for there money and take a series against them in the finals. Also to add Brad Stevens to the equation, I think he gives them a leg up against the warriors coaching wise

I doubt Kyrie wants to play like the team is playing right now.

His ball stopping style won't make them any better.

Stevens is the best coach in the entirety of basketball, all levels

I would love to see him out coach the frick out of Kerr, unfortunately golden state is such a lethal shooting squad that it feels so impossible to stop for more than 1 game at a time. If anyone can figure it out though, it's Stevens.

All the coaching on the world won’t help when Golden State trots out 2 MVPs and two all stars in their prime and they all start raining threes.

He's real good, but I would also have to consider Quin Snyder.

I disagree, I think they’ll be a very easy finals opponent for GSW, or Houston.

If Lebron goes to Boston or Lebron goes to the west, then maybe. But more likely is no, Lebron will go to another east team and the Boston will be a solid #2 in east for years to come.

What team in the east would he realistically go to and automatically make better than a healthy Celtics team? Philly is the only one I could think of, but even that wouldn’t be a guarantee
