Even if they finish the regular season as the top ranked team in the SEC?

They were not the top ranked team in the SEC. They were the 5th ranked team in the SEC.

They were tied for 1st in the SEC standings and only got into the title game based on tiebreakers.

There is no outright championship for the regular season.

The SEC has not been that great this year. Plenty of bad losses all around and lots of mediocre football by historical SEC standards at the top of the league.

In the end, Bama is getting into the SEC title game off tie breakers not better record.

So are you going on record with saying Bama won't get in with a close loss to Georgia?

Let's see you type it. Then see what happens.

So with a 2-loss Miami and ND when Bama loses their 3rd? Both with much better losses than Bama.
Do you not consider wins?

”What’s Bama’s best win besides the best win in the entire country by far” is not a convincing way to start an argument

Particularly when it dwarfs the entire season resumes of the teams that could be argued to potentially jump them

They're in unless they get blown out. Every single talking head has already said this. They're not going to penalize somebody who's already in the playoff and loses their conference championship, they made this a thing when they went to a 12 team format

LSU has incurable Bama derangement syndrome. They can not think rational thoughts about them in any form.

You have bama derangement syndrome, you can't even understand the sec would do away with the seccg if any team that was in the top twelve before the game and was put out with a loss. The sec and big 10 run the playoff. You have to quit bama hating and think big picture, I know that's hard for you LSU guys.

I have no such thing Gomer. Would ND even be considered if they had 3 losses but all to top ten teams. Bama got as kicked by an awful FSU team.

I don’t hate Bama. I don’t care for them, but I hate inconsistent rules designed to protect and benefit teams that don’t deserve it. Fair is fair. Bama should not be treated differently each time to get them in the playoff.

No. I am going on record that they have no business over the others right behind them if they lose this game. The committee will likely keep them in since they get favored treatment. I can’t control illogical and inconsistent decision making by a committee that cares more about making money than fairness.

Sure, when all else is equal. A horrid loss like hey have should mean something like it did against tOSU in 2017 allowing Bama to back into the playoffs with the same number of wins and not even a division title.

This isn’t about Bama. Most of us would say the same for any team. It’s an effed up system that clearly gives special treatment to certain teams such as Bama and ND.

Did you feel this way when the system left out Alabama, South Carolina, etc for SMU?

No. You didn't.

What system? That left them out over a team with less losses and more wins in a P4 conference? No.
