Having this discussion with a co-worker, my first reaction was no. Looking at his stats, though.. from 2013-2018 he was on an absolute tear.

2013- 110/1499/8
2014- 129/1698/13
2015- 136/1834/10
2016- 106/1284/12
2017- 101/1533/9
2018- 104/1297/15

LOL no. Maybe if he comes back and plays 5-7 more years though. The way he acted alone will get a lot of people not voting for him.

Part of being a HOFer is being an ambassador for the game. Do you think he has been a good ambassador for the NFL?

He deffinitly is but they won’t vote him in unless he does a really well done apology tour and gets mentally health

Or dies.

ETA looking up his stats he may have needed - or 2 more years to get there.

No, and if a voter suggests it, their vote should be taken away.

Yes he is. AB is very similar statistically to Marvin Harrison through their first nine seasons. Did anybody believe that Marvin Harrison was not a HOF player after the 2004 season?

No way. All the potential in the world. He doesn’t make it unless he comes back to play some more. (Won’t happen)

Guy burned a lot of bridges. If he stayed somewhat sane I think he would be, but I'd probably put steroid users in before Brown at this point.

He has the stats for it imo. But only way he gets in is if he comes back and plays a few more years at least. If he never plays another down, then no, he will not get into the HOF.

are yall fricking serious... he is 100% a HOF'er

Dude was an elite WR(top 3) for 5 straight years. Hell for most of them he was the best in the game. He is one of the greatest WR's of all time. I cannot believe there are so many people in here suggesting he's not

edit: First team all-pro 4 years in a row.. not a HOF'er ...…

so I'm guessing Calvin Johnson also isn't a HOF'er as well? their stats are almost identical. Calvin has a few more TDs in more games.. But AB has the 4 punt returns and kick return

I say a few more games.. but in terms of games started... Calvin has about 30 more.. and nearly identical stats.

He definitely is based on his play. But he wont, deservedly, considering his psychotic behavior the past 6 months

He won't ever get voted in so it doesn't matter what his stats are

The real question here is whether or not the HoF should be all about stats.

Obviously he has the stats, but he also sharted all over the league. How many times did he say “f the NFL”? How many people in the league has he disrespected?

If a team offered him today he’d immediately be on the commissioner’s exempt list.

Is it really that laughable to suggest that a guy should, at a minimum, not be completely at odds with the league before giving him a jacket and honoring him with a bronze bust? Really?

Kenny Stabler beat the frick out of his wife, Terrell Owens overdosed on hydrocodone then spit in another player's face & Ray Lewis literally killed a guy.

Give me a break with this ambassador bs
