You forgot John Hannah, widely regarded as the best offensive lineman to ever live.

I don't agree with all of those, but I guarantee you that somebody from Alabama is the GOAT fricker.

You might want to check out California... They have some pretty legit GOAT's born there.

You're getting a ton of shite, but for a state that size, I think that list is pretty damn impressive.

Unfortunately he was born in Georgia (and only played one year of HS ball in Alabama) and I'm keeping this to people born in the state. Otherwise I would have would Cam Newton, future football GOAT listed.
Hannah is definitely the GOAT offensive lineman though
Btw I would've also put Derrick Thomas as pass rushing GOAT if going to college here counted.

Upon further review, Ozzie Smith is indeed the GOAT defensive shortstop. Adding to the OP stat

Only Americans that don't follow soccer think Mia Hamm is the best female soccer player. Marta has been the GOAT for quite a while.
I'd rank Carli Lloyd above Mia Hamm.

Willie Mays, born in Birmingham, AL - baseball GOAT
The Bambino would like a word with you.

Joe Louis, born in Lafayette, AL - boxing GOAT
Muhammad Ali, Rock Marciano, and Sugar Ray Robinson all have a case for being the GOAT.

Hank Aaron, born in Mobile, AL - homerun hitting GOAT
Josh Gibson was from Georgia.

Track and Field GOAT
There can be only one, it has to be Usain Bolt.

I've seen it pointed out twice but it deserves more attention.
If you have two people in the same sport as greatest of ALL TIME, you are probably too dumb to regard as having any credibility in making the list.

Jesse Owens, born in Oakville, AL - Track and Field GOAT
Carl Lewis, born in Birmingham, AL - modern Track and Field GOAT

I'll be truthful, Alabama pound for pound probably has the greatest set of athletes factoring in the size of the state. I was just pointing out the amount of reaches in the OP.
