I live in Iowa, I am tired of these corn-heads talking about how IA is not getting any respect. Can't stand it.. They are claiming they should be number 1 based on their schedule...

Iowa vs. anyone in the NC would have to be the most boring one ever.

They should be. A one-point win over Northern Iowa and a three-point win over Arkansas State should give it to them hands down. They were lucky to escape those two powerhouses with wins.

Everytime i think about Iowa i think of a story my buddy told me about the capitol one game we played them in saban's last year.

An iowa fan was boasting that they brought the whole state for this game, and he replied, "well who is watching the corn" to which the the reply came with a stupit look, "the corn has already been picked"

Was there a history of the Big Ten being pretty atrocious in BCS games before then? Because voters will consider that when they vote that one-loss SEC team over Iowa.

I can't really take anything you post seriously when you don't know the difference between there and their.

But if Iowa wins out, and there are only 2 no loss teams, I'm sure that they will be in the BCSMNCG.

AND I am sure that they will have THEIR asses handed to them just like OSU in 2006 and 2007.

I haven't watched Iowa enough to know what they are capable of doing.

And I'm pretty sure you haven't either. Box scores don't tell the story. They are VERY dominant on D.

I'm well aware of the difference, when you're talking on the phone, and alternating between reading email, scheduling a computer test, and posting on a message board I'm not really surprised a mistake like that happened. Very good catch though. Job well done. Mega props.

Not gonna happen and Alabama, Florida, or LSU will have the strength of schedule to back their claim.

And what was said in 2002? You never know until you play the game. If they don't lose, they deserve the chance if others have lost. Enough said.

If they get through their schedule, win the conference and win in the bowl game, they can probably finish 3rd or so. Pretty dang good and fair.
