The NCAA has declared athletes ineligible for far less. If they make an exception here, it would be a joke.
But ultimately, the kid and his dad have no intentions of him pretending to play school anyway, so I guess it doesn't matter to them.

NCAA won't care. If anything, Lavar threatening to upend the status quo will make them more likely to declare LaMelo ineligible.
