There was a definite MIC/AI vibe in the stadium

Congrats to La Tech. Crowd was actually pretty decent on LT side. Good to see Jakori (spell?) Foster get another interception to end the game!! Amazing year for him.

I was at game but couldn’t see what happened. LT punted, either CC returner muffed punt or fumbled, LT recovered and ran towards endzone. What happened there? Did LT fumble at endzone?

Think attendance was announced at a little over 30k. The tech side was filled up pretty well.

Muffed into Own End Zone, Recovered by Receiving Team: Touchback, ball goes to the 20-yard line for the receiving team, as the receiving team had possession before the muff

would be a touchback in both NFL and college

actually had the ball been possessed by the recieving team, the kick would have ended and depending on how the ball made it to end zone(a new force by K recovered by R would result in a touchback, but a new force by R putting it in end zone would result in a safety). but it this case it was never possessed therefor still a kick.

Had to be tickets sold. I was there and if West Monroe vs Evangel was 34k in 2001, I’d say there were 18-19k there. Lots of empty seats still.

Perfect weather for football. 20 degree difference sitting in the shade or sun. One of the better Independence Bowls. Bulldogs offense was painful to watch, defense won that game for them. Good crowd that was really loud in 4th quarter. Coastal had a decent band and crowd but were easily out numbered by Tech fans.

Did you go to the parade/battle of the bands last night? Actually had a good time.
