I understand, but when people talk about Martin, he is a pussy because he has mental issues. RI is given a pass because of his (by some-not all)

I wouldn't say he's a pussy, I would say that he probably chose the wrong profession. I could never be a real estate or door to door salesman because of my anxiety issues, so I chose a profession that there is no constant rejection.

well he's basically ended his career in that profession the past week, so it should work out

don't get me wrong, incognito is probably done, too, but i can't see any team ever trusting martin

if he thought that the dolphins were mean to him and ignored him, imagine the NEXT team he would try to be on

I think Incognito gets another chance, all the stories from players and everyone siding with him favors him. Of course his next team has to be ready for a PR nightmare but we've had worse stories in the NFL and players getting more chances.

Yeag Incognito has a billion times better chance of fitting in another lockeroom than Martin does

But i dont see a GM taking the PR hit of picking up Incognito when hes a marginal talent at best

Martin has a better future because of the opportunities to further his career outside of football. He also could be the poster boy for "bullying".

Incognito is getting older (30), and will not get a chance, at least in this season, to play.

And I wouldn't be surprised to see him penalized by the NFL for "bullying" for them to avoid a direct hit. For instance being banned from the league for a year, and fined, would seem about right for league policy in the past.

Looking at Incognito's mental and emotional state from past instances, this very well could destroy his psyche however.

Didn't incognito make the pro bowl?

Brandon Meriwhether made 2 straight Pro Bowls while being a lousy safety and getting cut the next training camp by the Pats

Pro bowls are a pretty useless way to judge players

I think Incognito definitely gets on with another team. he's one of the best guards in the league.

This is such an interesting story to me. Richie sounds like your typical overgrown man-child who believes you need a tough skin to survive in life, and Martin sounds like he has plenty of emotional issues, the least of which being some sort of social anxiety disorder.
Understated point. Sure, it takes a true a-hole to bully a guy into jumping off the George Washington bridge and end his life, but I'd bet that there isn't an amount of bullying that exists in a dorm room that could convince you or me to jump. So yes, the bullies are terrible people and need to be dealt with, but there's also something going on with a lot of these victims that needs tending to. Not that it's their fault or anything, but a lot of these people need some help.

He'll be suspended by the League. Watch.

2 weeks ago, well before this story, i made my sister think i was a psycho when i was praising the benefits of bullying

as with anything, it can go too far

but there are benefits to bullying, and hazing (more importantly, especially in this context)

I can't see him getting a prolonged suspension for anything other than using n***a. But then are you going to suspend a significant amount of black players as well?
