In other news, RGIII claimed Stanford & Fla State were cheating as much as SEC pre-NIL

Cliffs:
-2 Schools he heard about outside of SEC paying the most were Stanford snd FL State
- Schools would set up independent bank accounts and $100K would just magically appear. Player would have access to the account.
- "unpaid" Summer internships set up, which we're actually cahs funneling avenues.
- claims Baylor never paid him under table
- Says 'wild west' claims now are no different than CFB was before NIL, just no coverage of it.
- Even Pros for years have paid players under the table over their cap number. (Shaq said Lakers did it with him)

I've always wondered with all these bags of cash players have gotten over the years how the IRS has never busted anybody for tax evasion. I guarantee the players getting illegal payments weren't claiming that income on their taxes.

Just an aside but a friend used to ref Fla. State games back in Bowden's peak seasons. He said Bowden, despite his good ol' boy God fearing persona, was the most foul mouth coach he ever crossed path with as a ref.
