If we are only talking in terms of College football then yes.

Dude was like 28-1.

Damn if we are going by stats like those then we need Jay Barker in the top 10.

Whats your response to Leinart and Wuerffel JACOB?

if you're going to include danny, you can top that with brennan (or harrell this year, who i think is likely to get 6k yards)

leinart was good, but i bet if you asked 10 random DCs who they'd rather scheme against, it would be vince winning 8/10 at least

he's not even close to being the best WR of the last 3 years, let alone best player the last 10

Orlando Pace was the highest regarded O-lineman I can think of out of College. He was getting Heisman votes.

Thought we were talking the last 10 years? Because I would say either Pace or Ogden if we went history.

Again I will stop the other players discussion.

You did not just put Colt fricking Brennan in the same sentance as Danny Wuerfull? I was there man, that guy ate our fricking lunch when we played them. He was not a pro at all, but I can't name a better College QB.

You included Steve Young, so I assumed you were going back further then that.

Putting up big numbers and then shitting yourself against UGA != Danny Wuerffel

Included S. Young in all time QB's (original topic) then Lester mentioned that V. Young was maybe not top 10 of the past 10 years. That is where I included the semi list, just off top of my head.

I gotta go with Vince. He made defenses change for him, not his offense, but him. The guy singlehandedly lifted Texas whenever they needed a boost (Ok State 05'). You knew he was getting the ball, and you couldn't stop him (vs. USC and Mich. in the Roses). And it's not like the Big 12 was bad then like it is now...the guy wowed you every time he got his hands on the ball.

you have got to be kidding with putt schmarjia or however the hell you say it as one of the top players...he wasnt even one of the top players while he was playing. he is a perfect example of of the media annoiting a player as great.

I'd actually put 2008 Big12 > 2005 Big 12

I see your point, it's just that I have little faith in KU or Mizzou...

you put VY on USC and they win 2003, 2004, and 2005 easily. You put ML on Texas and they don't ever win

I love revisionist history.

Dude, did you watch VY in 2003? He wasn't that good that year. They lost to OU 65-14, and VY played most of the game at QB. Against TT that year, Chance Mock lead them on a late comeback to win. ML was light years ahead of VY in 2003, and btw he lead them to a MNC.

In 2004 he really wasn't that great, except the RB against UM.

As great as he was in 2005, I seriously doubt he could make this pass, and no way could he audible into it.

LINK

Tebow has already had as many great seasons in college as VY had, 2 more and he will be the GOAT of college QB's.

if I'm not mistaken Brett Farve beat both LSU and Florida St

This was probably answered somewhere in this thread, but just in case, we did not lose the USM with Favre, they did beat FSU 1 year and Bama and Auburn the next.
