The best part is Nevada's QB now is some 6'4 230 pound white kid that probably runs a 5.2. Without the threat of the QB running, that offense is going to suuuuuuuuuck. They might win 4 games.

Nevada always has a good team. They just don't get the pub. Their coach (Chris Ault) is in one of of the three active coaches currently in the College Football Hall of Fame and one of the four active coaches with over 200 wins. Their record since joining the WAC is 52-33.

Rumor has it Cliff will be back for this game. Coach Ault is credited as the inventor of "the pistol" offense. This is their first game of the season and have been preparing longer than even LSU. Their Qb is a 5th year senior who knows how to run the Offense, but we hung 60 on UCLA last year while only giving up 3 against the pistol. So I wouldn't want to bet on this game. Ault is a great coach and has some great weapons on his offense and defense, but it will be a fun game to watch on FX this weekend.

Won't matter. It's not like people can just use the same scheme LSU, Auburn, or Ohio St used and be successful. Nevada doesn't have the same caliber of D-Linemen to stop yall.

I wasn't comparing LSU's defense, I was talking about Coach Ault the inventor of the pistol....and his ability to prepare for defenses. He has seen everything and knows how to take advantage of whatever changes are made by the defense.
