If you don't win your conference OR if you lose 2 games you lose your right to argue....

Your case.

Imo by doing either 2 of those things you are at the mercy of the committee.

Anyone that cries foul on either account is simply wrong, each team could have done more to assure they weren't in this position.

Yep, no matter which team gets left out they had something they could do to prevent it. No pity

I wish they'd just make it 8 teams so we'd quit getting all these stupid threads with the same stupid takes.

You know who would have every right to complain?

I’d be perfectly fine with UCF to be honest. Why not?

True, but he was saying who wouldn't have any right to complain. And since UCF will be pretty happy wherever they go, there wouldn't be a lot of complaining.

I would not have had a problem with us being left out in 2007. I believe that is kind of what the frick the OP is talking about.

Didn’t win your conference? Fine. But explain to me the logic of a team being able to sit at home and watch 2 better teams in their conference eliminate each other. It’s stupid. If Bama gets, CCGs should be abolished. It makes zero sense

Because it's not about the 4 best teams, or the 4 most deserving teams, at the end of the day it's about protecting the blue blood schools

We didn't have a right to complain, but we got in anyway because of our schedule with beating 4 top 15 teams and we were still conference champs even with starting a backup QB in the SECCG.

Bingeaux.

If Moo U had exactly the same resume as Bama, Ohio State would be #4.
