The year of the first Bulls title had 1 team in East was below .500. Second year, 2. Third year had a team at 41-41.

But I suppose <.500 teams in the playoffs are really only a recent occurrence.

I'm not cherry picking. I'm giving you an example of how your argument is complete bullshite and void of any basis in reality.

Shitty teams have always made the playoffs. Shitty teams will always make the playoffs. You are just willing to give certain players a pass for playing shitty teams and not others because you are terrible. That's all. I just felt like pointing it out.

I get that...but if you do, even rationally, MJ still edges Lebron

He's not a good shooter. At best he is an average shooter. He is shooting 64 % from the line this playoffs. Guy is an undersized big man, but still hell of an athlete. I put him 8-15 all time category. Great ball player but gets way too much love for what he is.

Westbrook and curry are better than him right now. Just give him space and dare him to shoot the ball. Yeah he may make a few but not enough to win. The thunder and the Warriors have way better shooters and will win the finals easily. LeBron doesn't have the shot to even scare a good team imo.

well he's outside of his prime (while currys and westbrook are in their primes) so that's not exactly shocking

he's 4-5 years older than those guys

You are correct there. It would be fun to see Westbrook now vs lebron in his prime. 2 great athletes.

No, more like you lurk in the shadows waiting for me to finish laying out part of an argument, then ignoring the facts that I presented with the West having 1-8 fifty win teams for nearly a decade.

Then you talk shite when I'm logged off, as if I have time or inclination to do a freakin full research paper or dissertation, and like a vulture pick whatever parts suit your agenda.

So you think in the finals, vs okc or gs the cavs will win if lebron settles for jumpshots all series? My argument is that take his drive away, force him to shoot and although he may score 25-30 the cavs won't be able to win like that.

Rose was still never at Wesbrooks level although you are right he was close. Plus rose didn't play with the insane intensity that Westbrook does. Westbrook has a better shot than rose to. That mid range from Russell is filthy.

Right now, he's nowhere near average, he's at the bottom. In Miami, he was one of the top 5 in the league from 16-23 feet out, pretty sure it was top 5 statistically.

Lebron? Was Karl Malone an undersized big man? They're the same size

You can think of 8-15 guys who played the game at a higher level than Lebron over a 13 year span?

I said at best, meaning he could be worse, right now yes at 6'8 as a big man your under sized, and no I can't think of 15 better than him but I can probably think of 7. Which is why I said he is 8th to 15 best all time rank. Math must be hard for you.
