Green would be gone way before the third round even started.

i don't think so. he's only getting older and he's kind of a head case. he never put up that great of numbers in his prime

Draymond is a top 30 player in the league, not sure how you'll get him past 60?

If it is one year only and not knowing the supporting cast I would take Lebron. Kawhi would be right behind him and who I would want for a longer period of time.

One year rental with every player going back in the pool for the next year. Kawhi and then Lebron for me. Giannis isn’t a proven champion yet but my 3rd choice.

The bar is so low for kawhi that he can have games like he had the last two and it’s ok. It is NBD.

The bar being so low tells us where he is as a player. The truly ALL TIME great players harden and lebron have a bar that is set way up here compared to kawhi. What is acceptable performance from kawhi is much lower than what is considered acceptable from a harden or lebron.

lol what?

How does one expect Green to get out of the first, and Siakam to get out of the second?

ETA: not to mention, why would one want two PFs and a Center with their first 3 picks?

You’re not taking KD for one year only in a year he will be recovering from a very bad basketball injury.
obviously, but I assumed we were legit resetting.

Otherwise then you take out KD and the top 3 is clearly Curry/Kawhi/lebron in no particular order.

The OP is for 1 season only.

Zero chance he's available in round 3 .

especially when apparently Siakam was going in round 2 and Draymond in round 3.

Harden is on the outside of the top 4 looking in

Yet Kawhi has two rings while Harden can’t even drag his sorry arse team to a finals.

Wish I had the energy to do a thread with someone picking for each team. 6 or 7 rounds. That way you can have someone in mind as a 6th man and a rookie or someone who may or may not be healthy for next year.

i guess i'm thinking i get regular season Draymond...

out of Siakam and Green they can guard the small forwards. they're 6'9" and 6'7"

You’re drafting a guy who has never played more than 64 games. Lol

It would take awhile to do and I wouldn’t be reliable in moving it along. If someone else wants to do it, I’m in to participate as a team drafting. Boom would draft Harden if given the opportunity and assume a bunch of scrubs since Harden doesn’t want or need any stars on his team.

The only reason I don’t take Lebron is because the wear on his body. He turns 35 this year and he has really put some years on those legs and back. I don’t wish it on anybody, but a guy his size, after all of these years is one wrong turn from a career ending injury.
