the guy with the rasheed wallace avatar at least seems to have an idea of what he's talking about.

there's always the few idiotic laker fans who just come in and say kobe has won championships and lebron hasn't without looking at the circumstances around the situations.

Ummmm just so you people know when Kobe and Shaq were winning championships they didn't have the most talented team in the league. They were the most talented duo but what they had around them wasn't considered top tier talent.

And no matter what anybody says Kobe didn't just ride Shaq's coat tails to 3 titles. They won them together. When Shaq showed up at the first of the season out of shape and injured Kobe carried them. When the Kings had them on the ropes in the playoffs Kobe took over after Shaq was in foul trouble thanks to the Divac flop. When Shaq fouled out against the Pacers early in the 4th in the finals Kobe took over and got them to overtime and then won the game for them. It always takes at least a duo to do it. The only team that has won a championship in the last 20 years that really only had one star was the Rockets.

I know I come off as a lebron hater at times, but I do want to see him succeed and get that elusive ring, I do...but what I want to see more than that is a consistency in his quest determination, more games like the epic game against the pistons in 07.

That stupid jaw thing kobe does, or the fire you could see in Mike's eyes as they are straight killing people on the biggest basketball stage in the world, breaking hearts with every touch of the ball, burying teams and not givng a damn what people think of them...

this is when a great player becomes a legend.

i've never said that and anyone that did is dumb. it's not like shaq wins those titles without kobe.

having another elite player around you can kind of negate not having top tier talent. you can't double team two guys

Against the Celtics, after Lebron, who was the next 4 best players in that series??

Honest question.

Are we assuming he was the best player in that series because I have Rondo, Allen, and Garnett all playing better than him in that series, hell he took two games off.

he has shown it before, but he hasn't shown to be the ultra competitive guy that truly makes champions

i'm not going to answer that, because regardless it shouldn't matter if lebron is everything he and everyone else says he is.

i summed up my opinion of lebron in my last post and that's all i have to say on this repeating argument.

Well of course Mo Williams #1.

The fact is that every member of the Cavs was outplayed by the Celtics INCLUDING James. I dont get the point. Is ONeal supposed to get dominated by Perkins? No. Is the chosen one supposed to get shut down in the last few games? No. I dont get the point. As a Cavs fan there are 2 factors for me:

1. This was supposed to be the best team in the league going into the playoffs.

2. That got outplayed which isnt so bad but they quit, especially James. NO frickING EXCUSE!!

Other than the game where he went Kobe and didn't try, when was Lebron shut down?

My point exactly. I know why I've asked that question about 6 times now and not one of you have answered it.

Good stuff.

because you may think it aids your argument but it doesn't and still doesn't excuse lebron from choking.

Bad wording by me. He simply quit in one game and in the last game played terrible. Dont give me that triple double argument either. He didnt have a good final game.

1. So you avoid my question, then ask a question. Classic.

2. I'll actually answer that question. I never said Lebron wasn't terrible in those last 3 games. My point is, you guys will crucify him for it, when Kobe did the same exact shite, but you guys will STILL say with your last dying breath that "Kobe has the killer instinct, he would never let that happen"

All of that is nonsense, Kobe has let that happen. Kobe has quit. Kobe has played 3 striaght horrific games when it really mattered. KObe has NOT been the best player in a playoff series not all that long ago.

On and on, all the things you guys dog Lebron for, your savior Kobe has done as well, but you act like he'd NEVER do that.
