Okay, so you are saying there is a difference if a Walter Nolan pushed Lane vs a Judkins who was in the dog house?

What’s the sane logic in saying the best TE in the league should be treated differently. What’s the ethical difference exactly?

Imagine doing that to Dan Campbell or prime ditka.

On the largest KC Chiefs message board I would wager that 90% of the posters are supporting Kelce, saying that Kelce is just competitive and the Chiefs’ play calling had been caca up until that point and that Kelce should have been on the field for the play where Pacheco fumbled, and that Reid needed to get the message.

IMO the difference in reaction is the difference between mostly old-school college fans who are used to dictatorial large and in charge coaches, and pro fans who accept that the players run the show and coaches are a dime a dozen.

You’ll recall that one reason Saban left the Dolphins is that Daunte Culpepper called him an MF to his face and he really didn’t have all that much recourse.

There are large swathes of society, that want to make everything about race.

You have guys like Ryan Clark and SAS who do it all the time. What’s ironic though, is that the folks on here who are often the biggest complainers about those guys either do it themselves or tolerate it without complaint when the roles are reversed.

With regard to Kelce or Mahomes if he had done it, those guys through their normal
Standards of professionalism and level of play of earned the benefit of the doubt from Andy Reid in that situation. Toney hasn’t.
