If Jalen milroe never gets to QB, which seems likely

Could he play the running back position or another position on the field? Is he unwilling? I’d say his value would go up if he embraced taysom hill

I always thought he would be better off switching to WR and being in an Antwan Randel El roll in the slot and being a passing threat on trick plays

Would you rather be a backup QB or 4th/5th string WR? Backup QB seems better to me unless you really want to be a gunner on punts

I think there's a handful of guys that could be Taysom Hill type players if both they and the org bought into it.
Say you wanted that to be Milroe. The issue is you have zero film of him at TE, H Back, RB/WR, or any specialist position. That's problem number 1. You're just hoping this will work with zero evidence suggesting it will.
Next, teams are now willing to risk more to try and turn that type of player (big, strong, and fast athlete) into quarterbacks. There's a bunch of FO guys who think "why can't X be Josh Allen? I have a great eye for talent!" People still wanted Lamar to play WR like 2 years into his career.
I thought a guy like Harold Perkins or Devin White would be incredible in those roles, but teams value them more at one position than they would in a swiss army knife role. The players probably also just don't want to do that.
