Him, Rivers, Roethlisberger are probably all guaranteed in assuming they each put in a few more seasons of top15 play.

I think somenoe like Stafford is where the debate really starts

Cam Newton has never been anything more than an average thrower of the football.

Only 1 top 10 QB rating season, 2015 when he was 7th.

Only 2 top 10 QBR seasons, 2013 @ 9th and 2015 @ 9th.

Only 1 top 10 passing TDs season, 2015 when he was 2nd.

Only 1 top 10 passing yards season, 2011 when he was 10th.

Only 1 top 10 passing completion % season, 2018 when he was 9th.

He's never been top 10 in pass attempts, but he's been top 10 in passes intercepted 4 times.

After he comes back against the packers next week and leads the Thurs to a Super Bowl this year (going 4-0 against saints / falcons) he will probably be at the top of the list for consideration.

I’m biased as a Saints fan too, I actually had to think about this so thereby he’s not

His career passing stats are pretty similar to Andy Dalton so that's gonna be a no from me.

Not entirely his fault obviously, but dude has never won a playoff game. Even if the stats are there, can you vote for a guy who never won a playoff game? Only 4 players have been inducted since the merger/modern playoff to have never won a postseason game and they spent part of their careers under the pre-merger format. And two of them were Gale Sayers and Butkus who clearly stood out as unequaled on the field when healthy.

And no to Cam...coming from an Auburn fan.

by that logic, Josh Gordon belongs in the hall of fame as well.

I don’t think he’s a hall of gamer even if he keeps playing.

Unless he gets a lot better and wins a super bowl or 2

Namath maybe. Not sure his overall record but he’s by far the worst QB in the HoF
