Relatively.

The first wave of testers on Phase 3 won't get the second dose necessary until the end of August.

They will wait AT LEAST 3 months before drawing any kinds of conclusions, and then if successful, it will likely go for emergency FDA use to a larger group but still not the general public at large.

I wouldn't expect widespread distribution until January.

How come it’s working for soccer in Europe, and has been for over a month?

Its similar to KBO.

Europe in general does not have anywhere close to the same infection rates per capita as we do.

Now whether that is because they have it under control or that they just aren't really testing much anymore, I don't know.

Every soccer league in Europe has had absolutely no issues.

Baseball isn't a contact sport like football is. These guys don't make a lot of contact with each other, at least not anywhere near as much as football.

And we already see baseball is failing.

How the hell is football going to proceed in September without a bubble concept? And without a vast expansion of rosters? These guys are constantly touching, sweating, breathing on one another.

I don't think the baseball issue is anywhere related to them playing the sport itself.

100% of these guys will recover.

They’ll have a fever and cough for a few days, and then be back to normal

False - all the euro soccer leagues have done fine, and they've been playing for 2+ months.

Probably because Europe isn't testing anywhere near the level that we are. I also feel like our testing is pretty suspect because there are a metric shite ton of people testing positive for the virus despite being completely asymptomatic. My sister's fiance tested positive for the disease and never once displayed symptoms. He was in the doctor's office because of a sinus infection and they just happen to administer a test on him for shits and giggles. My sister (no pics) wasn't tested but they went ahead and listed her as a Covid+ case since she lives with her fiance. She never developed symptoms.

dude. we know that. that's not the problem

we just don't want these guys to spread it to old geezers and vulnerable populations. that's why baseball need to bubble up. not a baseball fan but I'm rooting for them to get it figured out
