Because of this video from 3 years ago where he said "I will never watch another NFL game" because of the kneeling:
LINK

As if a retired 92 year old gives a frick what Twitter losers think of him

People only care what Lebron says, chief.

And yes, I am saying chief despite it being culturally insensitive in today’s climate, per twitter.

This current mob of canceling is about to hit its end, I think. This is like when #metoo got out of control and then they took it too far by trying to cancel Aziz Anzari for no reason and it lost its luster.

The cancel brigade is going at Dave Portnoy right now for a video from years ago where he said he didn't know Kap was black and thought he was kneeling because he's a terrorist.

He was an absolute idiot in that video. I laughed at how fricking stupid he sounded But "terrorist skin" is probably not good phrasing. I'd be shocked if he apologized.

He’s fired off a handful of tweets and no apologies thus far. Can’t see him apologizing either but curious what the sponsors will do with this one...if anything.

trying to cancel joe rogan and dave portnoy is absolutely hilarious

the simmons cancellation efforts have been comical as well. like 100 betas just using it to take their shots at simmons because they are insanely jealous. i read probably 10 articles/tweet threads and absolutely none of the complaints were race related whatsoever.

relevant headline for all of the aforementioned...

breaking news: super successful person who runs their own company is kind of an a-hole!

I think you are right and it will lose steam, but cancel culture will only meet its true end when social media takes a step back as our primary means of talking with our fellow man

It is. In the past two days I’ve seen a lot of tweets from black people saying stuff like we are just trying to end police brutality, not go after the Golden Girls or the term master bedroom. The people in these protests trying to bring about positive change aren’t going to stand for their message being transformed to foolishness much longer.

Hank Aaron broke the record against the Dodgers. Scullys call

quote:

What a marvelous moment for baseball; what a marvelous moment for Atlanta and the state of Georgia; what a marvelous moment for the country and the world. A black man is getting a standing ovation in the Deep South for breaking a record of an all-time baseball idol. And it is a great moment for all of us, and particularly for Henry Aaron ... And for the first time in a long time, that poker face in Aaron shows the tremendous strain and relief of what it must have been like to live with for the past several months."

Deadspin wrote a huge write up asking about if the McCockiner tweet about Mahomes not playing again until KC changed their name was instead true and focused the story on the name being racist

Will I get any better Google search results for my grandpa after this? Same last name, but Vin's middle name was my grandpa's first name
