There are plenty on this board that think JoePa is exonerated of all b/c he told an admin. That that action alone clears you of all culpability.

Just from listening to the regular media today makes me think they are treating it like a catholic church style cover up and will not rest until all parties are exposed.

We will never know the number. This behavior is so compulsive that Sandusky might not even know the number. It's a fricking travesty that this went on unabated for practically another 7 years.

JoePa is tarnished...
He reported to his higher ups but how you go 7 years allowing that man to use Penn States facilities. How you go to work and let that stick around? Let's be honest, Joe was more worried about wins than anything. Not much of a man IMO. He won't make it to Saturday.

you mean they didn't disparage the guy they are using as a witness in thier criminal prosecution of Sandusky ? He did the bare minimum required and looked the other way for a decade.

Yea the bare minimum! JoePa is Penn State! Sandusky sticking around campus was unacceptable. How many kids were raped while Joe held this info from cops.

Agree.
makes no sense to report a crime of this nature to anyone but the police.
The second the GA comes to paterno with his eyewitness account, paterno should have gone with the GA to the police and then later notify the university officials.
Then to knowingly allow that man onto your campus and facilities afterwards is unthinkable.
