I don’t hate this but why would another team be rewarded for not playing?

People want Vandy in when Bama beat them. I just don’t like the idea of rewarding teams for not being top 2 in their conference and punishing teams that are

They'll just put Bama in between ND and Miami since BYU lost.

9. ND
10. Bama
11th CFP team: UVA or Tulane
12th CFP team: Tulane or James Madison (if Duke beats UVA)

If it was Bama sitting outside, waiting to get in, they would be in.

I hate Bama with the best of them but dude
No way SEC runner up- who was in- is left out because they lost CCG.
If so, there will not be a championship game next year

if Bama was in before today and misses out because they played in the SECCG regardless of outcome, this whole conference championship weekend dies tomorrow.

I have zero love for Bama, but don’t come crying when your team is left out of the field when they had to play an extra game

What if I'm rooting for the champ game to be eliminated and Bama being hurt by it speeds things up in Birmingham?

Why couldn’t bama just beat the hell out of 5-7 FSU like they should have?

The Kentucky loss by Ole Miss is what did them in last year. I don’t see why this should be any different.

I would love to see Bama and ND get in just for the melt from Miami.

There is no precedent other than committee vibes.

FSU was undefeated and won their CCG with a tremendous defense, and the committee still used "eye test" BS to keep them out.

It's not that they should be penalized for losing an "extra" game.

It's HOW THEY LOOKED while losing it.

They haven't looked like a CFP team since mid Oct and looked terrible today. And THAT is why they don't belong

Oh well, the SEC can decide to remove the game if they want. But Bama should not get in!

Quit Cryin. 3 losses is 3 losses. If this were any other 3 loss team we would not be talking about them…

Bama could've easily punted and kept it a 14 point game. Bama is beat to shite right now. Two weeks should be enough to get some guys healthy and see what happens.
