I just realized UL Lafayette trying to be like University of Louisiana from The Waterboy?

Seems like that movie was really about the Lafayette area. Being from Lafayette, I pretended it was more about the Eunice, Breaux Bridge, New Iberia folk. Also Bunkie, definitely Bunkie.
Do the ‘down the bayou’ Coach O kin also identify with this cinematic classic?

I laugh at how castrated every ULM student and alum must be that they sit back and do NOTHING about an equal institution taking the indicator off their name while ULM takes it like a cuck

They actually held up their part of the bargain unlike ULL that found a loop hole to brand their athletics as UL. I assume the only reason they changed was to keep ULL from getting the UL status.

The majority of ULM alumni would still rather be called NLU. The name change of that and the Indians is part of the reason there's a lot of apathy in Monroe

Tulane is also the actual university if Louisiana and they have the political clout to actually do stuff.
