I just heard David Carr say that Pete Carroll's USC teams used to always whip the SEC

Don't remember that ever happening or at least it being a regular occurrence.
In fact, I remember USC never wanting to schedule the bigger SEC schools.
Am I misremembering this?

I remember they beat Arkansas once or maybe twice. That's about it though

They beat the ever loving dog shite out of Arkansas. I do remember that. Think they dropped 70.

They beat Auburn back-to-back years as well. So at least 4-0. Not sure if they played anybody else.
But let's be honest. They whipped everyone back then.
Edit:
(A) 2006/09/02 Southern California 50 - Arkansas 14 W
** (H) 2005/09/17 Southern California 70 - Arkansas 17 W
(A) 2003/08/30 Southern California 23 - Auburn 0 W
(H) 2002/09/02 Southern California 24 - Auburn 17 W
But let's be honest. They whipped everyone back then.

They obliterated Ark twice and beat Auburn twice

Beat what was supposed to be a BCS contending Auburn team 23-0 in 2003.

I think they 2-O'd both Arkansas and AU. So really, they whipped the SEC West.

They swept Auburn the year before Auburn got locked out of the championship in 2004. This was a big part of the flawed “evidence” that Auburn needed to be out.

Pete used to smoke everyone. People forget how nuts those USC teams were.

He beat Auburn twice and Arkansas twice, those are the only SEC games I see. So, to be fair he was 4-0 against the SEC.

2003 LSU beat Aubie 31-7 that year as well. Aubie was clearly not elite that season

They whipped everyone except for the random Thursday night Oregon State affair back then. Do you all not remember how good those teams were? They would've won another title or two if the playoffs had been a thing at the time.

I don't think they're whipping LSU, UGA, or UF from those days.

4-0 with an average MOV of 29.8 PPG says it's not.

In 2003 LSU beat both of their common opponents with USC (Auburn and Arizona) by more points.
