I'm starting to wonder if Mayfield is the kind of QB who only throws to guys that are wide open instead of throwing to spots and trusting his WRs will get there.

Damn. The qb makes one big run and Texas stops blitzing. Mayfield is a vagina, you have to get after him.

This is a pretty good game. UT has done the opposite of just rolling over.

We haven't really blitzed at all this half. I don't get why

That's exactly the kind of QB he is.

Sure seems like it. I'd like to get a full field view to see how well the D is covering but it seems like he holds the ball for way too long for the type of offense that OU typically runs.

Yeah, but the officials effed up on that one. Official ruling from the booth is that the horn player who recovered the fumble actually scored the TD.

Too early for clock management? Why did he run OOB on that run that picked up the first down, on first down. That's 40 extra seconds they could have shortened the game.

You know that the clock starts running when they set the ball right? Clock doesn't stop permanently till under 2 in a half when its OoB

Yep, he almost mishandled it on the bounce.

This is an important drive for OU since time is going to quickly become the enemy.
