Did you win? Did he ask you for any tips?

I came out ok. Not my best night to be honest.

He didn’t ask for tips, but contrary to a popular stereotype about black folk, he did tip the dealer well

What did they kick him out for?

From what I’ve learned in this thread, it must be one of the few casinos on the east coast he’s not banned from

How much was he betting per hand?

Does he at least split aces and 8's?

He was a trainwreck in Detroit, from what I recall.

This is only a stereotype because it's true.

I used to slang booze myself, so I can speak to this. It's frustratingly, excruciatingly true.

Heartbreaking. She literally had to divorce him to have money to care for her kids. She said he was still spending money like he was about to sign another $100 million contract.

Fiscal pragmatism has never been his thing. In his playing days, he would literally not pack clothes. Just buy new clothes in every city. Think about that for a minute.

This may explain why he was talking about having us buy his shoes....

I didn’t even know they were still making Iverson shoes.

Ran into Dominique Wilkins at Cherokee a year or so ago. Dealer that night told us after Dominique left the table that Michael comes in from time to time apparently as well but they set up his own room for him.

I saw 'Nique at the Hard Rock in Ft Lauderdale about 3 in the afternoon playing blackjack years ago. Very laid back.

Matt Geiger bought his house from him in Philly. Said he got there and there’s cash laying all over the place, closets, on the rugs, in the couch. He bags it up and brings it to practice to give to AI and he’s like nah, you keep it.

Was it as cool as knocking Cadillac Williams out of a poker tournament?

Because I did that

And this is why people call this board the more soy board. What won’t y’all melt about?

This wasn’t a brag thread, for the record. Just an interesting encounter with one of the most recognizable faces from the NBA.

You say “AMA” then avoid the questions people want to know.

I believe you played with, but this whole “behind closed door high roller” bs is just TD speak.
