I like watching Curry lose as well.
He is extremely hate-able. Yea, you're probably the best shooter to ever live. You don't need to pimp every shot you make like it some fricking surprise.

Green & Kerr are extremely unlikable and very easy to root against
I get that but my love of Steph and Klay trump that. Also Barstool and Bill Simmons have caused me to loathe all things Boston so I’m still rockin with the Warriors.

I’d say a good 80% of this board watches some form of the talking head networks. Another 15% are podcast people.
At least the podcast world is long form conversation.

Warriors are mostly unlikeable players. They cry and flop the entire game.
I don't watch much NBA, but I recall the days where Curry was considered lovable. Are we sure this isn't a byproduct of them winning a lot of basketball games and fans just loving to hate on winners?

That’s a bingo

Jordan Poole has now entered by big 3 of Warriors hatred along with Draymon Green & Steve Kerr.

Ngl I was pulling for GSW to win the west but with all the legacy nonsense re: Steph I am wanting to see the Celtics beat them now. The media has completely disregarded the cake wall path they got to the finals and the clear decline in stephs game and making it seem like this would be some all time great accomplishment to win these finals and that curry is still at his peak / prime. Just too much intellectual dishonesty for me it is like these guys are trying to one up each other with outlandish takes.

I really don't understand how he can constantly show up the refs and not get called for techs more. There were at least 3 times last night where I thought it was warranted. It's my main issue with GS. I was ok with them winning until I saw them play last night.

Draymond is a mouth breather.

You also have to factor LeFanBois who really really don’t want Curry to get another one.

Well I said mostly because a few of those guys are likable, (Wigg, Looney, Iggy). I was a fan of Curry from college until about 2018 but he’s changed. Remember when they started winning and he became a star some media and other people were knocking him for not being “black enough” and didn’t like that he was “the silent assassin”? After Durant kind of stole some of his thunder Curry fed into that media caricature and became unlikable. As far as his game he’s incredible, I think he’s underrated actually, but whether it’s to clout chase with the media or appeal commercially his attitude is noticeably different than it was during those first couple title runs.

He went 2/12 FG, 0/4 3pt, 0/3 ft.
I had to look up the box score to believe this.
He also played 38 minutes and fouled out
Arguably the most insufferable athlete. All sports.

The last time GSW won a title Steph had a TS of 67 and a PER of 28. This year 60 TS and 21 PER. He is fallen off of his prime a lot but the media loves him so much they don’t mention it / overlook it. also the KD fan in me would like to see them not win 1 so the only non KD title the warriors have is the one where Kyrie and Love got hurt.

Iverson was a terrible defender -worse than Steph & would get hunted today.
