That show is nothing but a lot of shouting idiots with Steven A being the worst. I just got tired of his i know everything crap.
He should be a woman because he is all about the drama. It is sports dumbass it isn't curing cancer.
Plus they do nothing but push Sports betting now.
I don't even know if you can trust the games now with so much possibility of shaving points, dropped passes, missed blocks, missed field goals.
Not sure about college either with the players getting paid so much. Refs possibly betting?

You don’t watch them and haven’t for a while, yet know everything about the show….

Every person that comes here to post something about “not watching” or “not listening”, obviously just finished watching or listening and comes to complain about what they just watched or heard.

Anything with the word "take" in it falls under that category. This goes back to Jim Rome 30 yrs ago.

This is silly. The NFL salary cap in 1995 was $35M per team. It is $300M today. And you are worried about players TODAY being more at risk for betting/shaving points? When a cell phone is a digital history of every single call or text and every online bet is saved digitally as forensic.
evidence for eternity?
A shite ton of morons who are addicted to throwing money they dont have at betting and subsequently lose love to get on social media and bitch that the game is rigged. Yet the other 50% that happened to have won those same bets are strangely unaffected by all of this point shaving, paid refs, etc.

I hope you don't start betting money you cant afford to lose.
I haven't bet on a sports game of any kind since i went to Vegas a long time ago during NFL divisional playoffs and that was probably 15 years ago. And i think my total bet was 100.dollars.
I don't worry about my gambling problem as i don't have one but they have made it so much easier for people to place bets now than when i was young.
I am just worried for the people who lose control because the odds are in the sites favor or they wouldn't be in business long.
Sorry for my concern for people i don't even know.

I stopped watching it during the Max Kellerman years and he made the debates way too left-wing and political, Stephen A and Will Cain would always try to steer him back to some sense of reality but he was already far gone. I'd get annoyed likewise if someone tried making it right-wing as well.
When Cain left the mothership, I was out on First Take for good though I'll return every blue moon if there's some good college football topics there

The irony here is that the people who say this are also usually the ones posting the most about how great Trump is on the poliboard.

I am at work when these shows are on and have been for 25 years, the only time I did used to watch was when I was on vacation - and I did automatically put the t.v. on for those 10 days a year on ESPN in the mornings.
But I have not done that for 10 plus years now.

Can we have a dedicated "muh ESPN sucks" thread so we don't have three new ones every day?

I don't know if you are aware of this but they have these apps called Twitter and YouTube, where you can get clips of the show or people talking about the show. So you don't have to watch all the bullshite filler.

The worst episodes were always with Michael Irving. He and SAS....all they did was yell over each other. Like I couldn't even stand it have it on in the background when working from home.
Some guest with SAS are ok for periods and dont ALWAYS devolve to yelling. This is tolerable for background noise.

Basically the same thing when people complain about the same restaurant over and over, but you’d have nothing to complain about if you didn’t go.

I stopped watching years ago...back when Cold Pizza became the Skip Bayless hour.
