It's about safety.

For me it's not even about women per se. If it's some 13 year kid, some 105 lb adult male, or an average female, I'm not planning to punch anyone if my safety isn't truly compromised.

These dudes that say if a girl punches you then she's fair game, they just want to be macho and are looking for excuses to punch a girl.

Now on the flip side, even though I said all that, some girl that is wailing on a dude won't get much sympathy from me if he punches her back, but that doesn't change the fact that it's cowardly to do so if you're truly not in danger of any sort.

Agree! Chiefs claim that had to cut him loose because he lied to them about the incident, what lie he told I'm not sure. I can't see how the Chiefs find the same offensive attack with Hunt out of the lineup.

The video was bad, but not nearly as awful as either Mixon or Rice.

That said, the fact that Hunt never changed body mannerisms and kept trying to go over the female as well as the kick is what cost him his job. He is going to have to have some serious mental rehab in order to save his career.

He can either be a thug from here on out, or be an advocate for eliminating domestic abuse.

I've always felt these kind of guys are weak.

You see this attitude all the time, especially around here. It's really not that difficult not to strike a woman.. but especially some sloppy drunk woman who honestly isn't even hurting you. If you are so strong then show it by either getting control of the situation or simply walk away. You can afford restraint in almost all of these situations.

Just walk away from a very emotionally upset woman. It's just not worth being around in that moment.. If leaving or removing yourself from the situation is an option, by all means just walk away. If she is hitting you, just keep walking away. As if most of those shots are even affecting you.. I see these videos of guys reacting like monsters because a girl threw one stupid drunken punch..

I still think it's weak to respond by punching.. Especially if you are that much stronger. I can't imagine punching a woman, especially out of anger. (I'm not even talking about this video) Maybe I could see shoving a persistently aggressive woman away.. but he had every opportunity to remove himself from the situation and he kept coming back.. This is most evident by his completely unnecessary kick while she is injured and on the ground.. It doesn't matter how hard he kicked her, it's such a disrespectful move at that point.. It shows his real character, which regardless what inspired this, is shite.

I don't see why anyone cares to defend such behavior, but by all means.. Keep on keeping on.
