How the heck was UCONN not overall NCAAW seed??

I mean, I follow the sport peripherally and keep up with the LSU women, watch their games, but not other teams, but just look at their results, their only three losses (@ ND, two point loss at home to USC and two point road loss to Tenn and 5 top 25 wins including a 29 pt. road win vs. So. Carolina.
I guess it didn't really matter, but they fact they weren't even a 1 seed seems crazy, but then again LSU perpetually being a 3 seed also defies logic. Anyways, happy to see the crown not go to another SEC program.

Their conference was trash and they lost 3 of their 4 toughest non-conference game. That said they were obviously the best team based on recent form and likely to cruise a title.

I think USC was the top seed and their superstar hottie tore her ACL early in the tournament.
