NCAA sanctions coming,

you act as if you know for a fact heavy sanctions are coming. they will lose a few schollies and maybe have to forfeit games. big deal, wont affect the program going forward. some of you are going to be very dissapointed when its announcec, i cant wait to see this site that day, complete meltdown

There's a real battle brewing out west for dirtiest program- USC is now squarely in the lead but Oregon will try harder next year.

I have seen several of your posts regarding the pac ten and you should stop cause you don't know shite. If Oregon is so damn dirty why do they keep losing out on top talent that they were in the bidding for?

I guarantee you UCLA and SC are the dirtiest. No one throws rape parties like neuheisel and orgeron is just a sleeze.

Southern CA...you ever been there?

Yes. The campus is meh. And in a shitty part of town besides. Of course the weather is nice year around, but the beach is a long way from campus. But I do see how poor urban kids can be enamored by the glitz and glamor of LA.

Makes you wonder how schools in the Midwest can ever compete?

History, tradition, a distinct culture, a beautiful campus, and being in a city where the University is THE most important thing there is. The Midwest doesn't have a lock on this, but SC lacks it, except the culture.

This thread is hilarious considering the bashing LSU fans are doing of Aggie fan on the Recruiting Board for the "LSU sucks, the campus is terrible, the people are stupid" comments coming from AgFans or wherever.

We should all just understand that every school sucks if it isn't your own.

Right. Downtown L.A. is a shite hole, so is a lot of east and south central LA proper.

But in addition to the above areas Brentwood, Santa Monica, Marina Del Ray, Venice, Culver City, Westwood (for college age kids), etc are all great areas.

Sunny all the time, beautiful women, ESPN kisses your arse, winning program, not much competition in the Western U.S. for recruits, talent rich state, etc....the shock would be if they didn't kick arse in recruiting.

Even downtown isn't too bad anymore. There's a good number of nice bars downtown now. It's not like most USC students are hanging around South Central on the weekends. Pretty much everyone goes to Manhattan Beach, Santa Monica, or Westwood all of which are close by.

yeah, i've hung out downtown a few times. it just leaves a LOT to be desired compared to the downtowns of other major cities.

It's not like New York or Chicago or anything or even average for a major city, but I've seen a lot worse downtown areas
