This Indiana team lacks the depth of previous teams. The transfer portal has changed things. Talent is more spread out now. Forget the NFL, They would get destroyed by previous champions of CFB.

I know it would never happen due to liability issues, but god I want to see this played out just one time in real life so we can put this stupid arse topic to bed

Pick the worst NFL team of ALL TIME.
That team beats Indiana by 50.
Some of you guys are fricking retarded.
In a time machine game or relative to the era?
Football has evolved a hell of a lot since the ‘60s.

Nobody
Especially in this talent spread around the Country in CFB in this NIL era.
The only possible argument you could ever make with a straight face is picking GOAT teams from bygone eras:
For example, 1972 USC Trojans when they had over 100 players on the sidelines and the roster was 3 deep with players who'd star at any other School...1972 USC had 13-All Americans; and 33 players on the roster who eventually played in the NFL. You would literally have to go back to the 70s when a few teams in CFB had all the talent and backups with more talent than anybody else.

The problem with this is that, for as good as Indiana was, several starters won't play very long, if at all, in the NFL.
On the other hand, everyone who would play for an NFL team, is playing in the NFL.

If it wasn’t for a Carson Beck INT , they probably don’t get by a Miami College team- Much less the Miami Dolphins

Stop it… apples and oranges

This comp ridiculous compared to all the other teams people have tried this mental exercise with… seeing as Indiana only has 4-5 guys on their squad who will be drafted

I say Jets, Titans and Cardinals for sure.
Those teams would score more points than yards gained by Indiana.
