Bad OL, and a QB that the wide receivers have given up on and have no chemistry. Clemson has another #1 QB coming in next year. It’s impossible for the offense to be this bad another season. They are a historically bad.

One bad year after a 6 year run of good to elite is very different than 2017 being ok, 2018 being good, 2019 being elite, 2020 being the worst since 1999, and 2021 being as bad or worse than 2020.

Their WRs and RBs were better then but Jeff Scott leaving and Tony Elliot taking over by himself has be hurting too. Lawrence probably masked some of the issues last year.

But last season, DJ played like he was gonna be next great Clemson QB in the 1st ND game & BC game. He threw for almost 800 yards & 4 TDs combined in those 2 games.
This year, it took him 5 games to reach that yardage mark and after 7 games, he only has 4 TD passes

Ohio State didn't give Clemson time to adjust pre-snap. If that means that Clemson was really stealing signs or if they did a ton of homework of formation tendencies, that's unclear.
Either way, that's what worked.
