Collison is a good one. His parents were both elite sprinters. He's got about as good of genes as you could ask for

i think the tallest guy listed is 6-2 also, which is important. i'm not guaranteeding a tmac or kobe in their primes could

but they may have been able to if you let them go to a speed camp for a month

I think he could run a high 4.5, IMO he has the same body type as Vince Young and Terrelle Pryor but is more athletic(that's crazy).

I would think Lebron is in 4.4 range.

I would think it would be like Matt Jones when he suprised everyone with his speed.

i just don't see a 245lb lebron james beating percy harvin, pat white, etc in a 40 yard dash. but maybe he is just a freak athlete and can run a sub-4.5 40

LeBron is the best athlete on the plant, any sport considered. I say 4.48 at 265 lb

IDK. That is a pretty damn strong statement.

I don't know a shite ton about soccer, but they have some elite ones. Also all the Olympic decathelon guys. I do believe he one of the best though, but that is strong. What about a guy like AD or Vernon Davis?

Lebron=best athlete for his size a close second would be Wladimir Klitschko.

But guys like Andre Dirrell, Darrelle Revis and Cristiano Ronaldo are better athletes

There's a reason sprinters aren't usually above 6'5, taller people generally have better top speed due to longer stride length but slower acceleration. Plus, I think basketball players on the whole tend have to train for endurance (as opposed to say, football) due to the nature of the sport, which requires you to move around constantly for extended periods of time.

That being said, Lebron is an absolute physical anomaly, so i say he runs mid to low 4.6s with a bit of training (with the speediest)PGs in the league running around low 4.5s to high 4.4s).
