hahahah @ Davis, got his stuff packed by Lebron

I get the vague feeling that he's faking it, but I just don't understand what the reasoning behind it would be.

I don't know why, but Lebron's passing up some pretty good looks on the perimeter. He seems hesitant to take outside shots.

What I just don't understand is how any talk of moving Paul is instantly dismissed by fans. Yes, he is probably the best point guard in the league right now. But over the next 3 years, his contract is going to balloon. And on a nightly basis, the Hornets get KILLED in the paint by lack of offensive production, rebounding, and shoddy defense.

Without a skilled big, I think teams in the NBA are extremely limited:
2008-2009 Cavs
Phoenix (before Robin Lopez really developed
Heat
Bulls
etc.

I just think that moving CP3 could land a proven, extremely relibable big. What are the objections to this?

Hornets Trade Proposal

Disclaimer before I begin - I have very limited knowledge of NBA trades, the value of certain players, etc. But with the recent success of guards like Thornton and Collison, this seems reasonable to me.

Raptors get:
Chris Paul
David West
Emeka Okafor

Hornets get:
Chris Bosh
Andrea Bargnani

Yes, we'd be trading away the core of our team and the face of the franchise... but we'd get in return a formidable post presence and I feel that Collison has proven himself as a starter in the League.

What say you?

re: How fast is LeBron?

There's a reason sprinters aren't usually above 6'5, taller people generally have better top speed due to longer stride length but slower acceleration. Plus, I think basketball players on the whole tend have to train for endurance (as opposed to say, football) due to the nature of the sport, which requires you to move around constantly for extended periods of time.

That being said, Lebron is an absolute physical anomaly, so i say he runs mid to low 4.6s with a bit of training (with the speediest)PGs in the league running around low 4.5s to high 4.4s).
