I just don't get that. It's so boring.

The NFL has become boring as shite. I used to live and die with the Ravens and now I can't even get through entire games anymore. The game's become so sanitary today. Defenders can't hit the QB. They can't touch the receivers. Teams don't need to run the ball or play great defense to win. They can just outscore teams by throwing the ball. There's a million commercial breaks. And I've always been the type of person who's had a hard time watching games not involving their favorite team. College football is the lone exception because it's such a great sport. It would be great if Goodell can ruin the NFL to such an extent that college football can surpass it one day.

Not sure why you chose that. kind of dumb to compare the NBA conference championship to game 7 of the world series.

College football would also get much bigger ratings if they only had one, max two, games on at a time like the NFL. College ball can have four or five games or more competing against each other at any given time.

The main thing I get from your numbers is that the NBA really misses Michael Jordan

Have there been polls done showing if the great majority of people who watch the NFL are also the great majority of the college football crowd and vice versa? Is it possible that the guys on 4 different college games all come together to watch 1 sunday night game b/c there is no college game on?

I know NFL is king, but that could help skew the numbers

I didn't.

Learn to read. I compared it to a regular season game of Notre Dame vs. Michigan...which is what this thread it is about...

That's just a random sampling of college football numbers to OTHER US SPORTS compiled by Nielsen. Thread title.

I don't know about playoffs but NBA regular season games have had declining TV ratings for the last 10 years. CFB and NFL regular season games have increased viewership.

Damn Right! Rose Bowl>>>>>>Sugar Bowl. The B1G has to have something better than the SEC even if they lose the Rose Bowl almost every year.
