We all know that NFL is king. But how do college football ratings match up to the NBA, MLB, NHL, etc.?

i would imagine it would vary from week-to-week and channel-to-channel...like on average? I'd imagine it's between NBA and MLB.

I think College football is second after the NFL followed by MLB, NBA, PGA Tour, NHL.

With these comparisons it's always apples and oranges, IMO.

Length of seasons throws it all out of kilter.

you can always eliminate that by looking at title games

CFB moved to cable and is still killing it. that's huge

Yeah. But on the same point, a game one of a DS isn't going to be watched as much as a first round NFL playoff game, or maybe even the Meineke Car Care Bowl.

NFL playoffs are fun.

Season is ho hum. I'm a texans fan and I looked at the recent Green Bay and Baltimore games just like Miami and Tennessee. Just can't excited during the season.

Lol

The NFL playoffs destroys the bowl game bull shite.

Saints/49ers last season was one of the most exciting games I've ever watched, although it hurt.

49ers/Giants NFC Championship was another great one.

Baltime/NE AFC Championship... another game down to the wire.

The NFL has close games every weekend, very close. 11/13 games played this weekend were decided on the final drives. The parity in the NFL is insane. Far from boring.

True, if NBA, NHL, MLB all played only 1-2 games games a week for a season I'm sure they'd have killer ratings.

CFB can be exciting or boring. Depends on who's playing.

There was a recent list of the top 50 most watched sporting events of the decade, the highest rated non nfl Game was the Texas USC national championship. The NFL obviously dominated the list with super bowls and conference championships, but IIRC college football was the second biggest sport

your opinion and that's fine but theres many of us that love the NFL. I enjoy CFB a bit more but lately all the blowout games every weekend have really lowered my enjoyment of the sport
