Is Hurley dominating recruiting? They lost their 2 best players from last year and haven't lost a step.

He only has one surefire 5 star.
He did retain three of the main players from last year’s squad, but the newcomers and previous benchwarmers are playing much better than you’d expect, imo.

UConn has an insanely good NIL program due to having the wealthiest alumni base in America (and also being the wealthiest state)
They are able to go into NY to get good bball players

Great coaching.
This, plus they got lucky with Clingan being a local product. Also; Hurley knows exactly the type of player he wants and recruits the best fit, he doesn’t recruit the “best” players who may not be a good fit or who are overhyped.

I'm also wondering if uconn has filled the void in the northeast with Jay wright retiring, and getting the types of guys that were going to Villanova.

NYC is a great base for recruiting and Hurley is an outstanding coach

Well that's by far Stanford... But their alumni don't give a shite about sports...they're too busy running billion dollar companies.

We’re not looking for the best players Craig we’re looking for the right ones.
