PSU people slid it under the rug. A parent called the police, but some judge or DA let it go. Someone correct me if that's wrong.

I'm sorry, but I can't believe that any human being who is not a complete POS would see a child being raped and not say or do something.

Just turn and walk away....

I can tell you dont have children. Most people would've stopped the raping of a child. There's no arguing that.

How did word get out on this?

Various victims had come forward in the past, but they were not believed or the DA didn't think they had the evidence for a conviction. Another victim came forward at school 3 years ago, where Sandusky was a coach and had been molesting him. An investigation began, evidence was then presented to the grand jury, which has now resulted in all of the charges being brought.

Everyone thinks they would stop the raping of a child. I'm pretty sure if you polled people you'd get like 99.9% saying they'd do something. Yet not just in this case but in many others an extraordinary amount of people do nothing. Or at least far less than they should.

Sandusky and McQueary need to be hanged. Sick fricks. The world would be better off without them both.

I can tell you 100% without any doubt if i walk up on that situation I am doing whatever it takes to get the kid out of there and if that means violence then so be it, next I call the cops. I get that some people aren't the violent kind but you damn sure better find the first phone and call the cops. There is no other correct response other than that, imo.

I know McQueary was the visual witness, but he went and confided to Paterno who is the highest of highest within their program over there. If you feel such away about McQueary, i see zero reason to not feel no different for Paterno.

I keep trying to put myself in their shoes. Imagine you're McQueary trying to work your way up for a dream job as a PSU coach, and you see the coach in waiting doing something like this. You know if you rat him out you probably never move up past GA. Sure it's selfish, but frick. Then you're the janitor and you probably really need this job for your family and you're afraid no one will believe you because you're the new janitor and he's a respected coach. frick, they're still pussies

Forget physical altercation. If you walked into your office bathroom and saw a grown man raping a child, would you not even call the police?

You're a fricking moron. If I see someone fricking children at my office, I'm going to the police. frick my boss.

This is the point that people seem to be forgetting. If I went to my boss and nothing happened there is no question that I would call the police. I couldn't live with the fact that I just walked away, didn't stop it, and didn't alert the police. In fact Im sure that if I told my family they would call the police. Just a sad situation.

Paterno can GTFO too. EVERYONE with knowledge of the situation that didn't do somthing to put a stop to it and report it needs to see the inside of a court room.

I KNOW I would stop it. It has nothing to do with being a badass.....it has everything to do with being a normal person and not a huge pussy.

Exactly. You don't even have to have a physical altercation. Just say, "hey what the frick are you doing?" Pretty sure he would stop. Then you call the police and make sure the boy is not left alone with the rapist.

So, if you're giving joepa and the ginger a pass on the raping in the shower, then why did they allow him to come around up until last year? They knew he was still raping boys, based off of other wittiness. Looks like to me they turned their heads for decades. Both need to be locked up.

McQueary and the janitor are cowards, not sick twisted perverts like Sandusky.

I agree that everyone in that situation should call the police. Not calling the police is absolutely indefensible and unexcusable and just moronic. What was going on was so much bigger than just Penn State to think you could handle that internally...it's just beyond words. My "argument" is about the people equating McQueary to Sandusky it's just absurd. And everyone here who say's they'd 100% without a doubt physically intervene in a situation like that...i hope you never are in a situation like that. But if you are i pray to god you do do something
