from my experience with them at the NC game, they are a very strange bunch of people, and we were in Nola for several days around them, not hostile, quiet, aloof, no sense of humor, and cliquish/cultish

I watched the 2019 NCG with a buddy's girlfriend who didn't know the difference between a pulling guard and fair catch and she ran her fricking mouth the entire time. Well, almost the entire time.

They carry stacks of 2 dollar bills with a paw print on it to circulate in the local economy.

An odd combination of megachurch types who pull for Clemson because of Dabo's prosperity gospel mixed with Marty Smith tryhards whose entire conversation is like a motivational speech.

One's I have interacted with have been fine, if a little weird. That said the $2 bill thing is barely a step up from the Aggie class ring obsession.

My only interaction with them was at the NC game. I was standing in line with my brother to get in the dome. It took forever because of Trump and we were in line next to some Clemson fans and struck up a conversation.

We had bought our tickets online so they were on our phones. My brother told them how he collects all his tickets from LSU events to one day give to kids or grandkids. He thought it could be cool.

Anyway, he exchanged contact info with one of the Clemson fans. A couple weeks later he received a package in the mail. It was the Clemson fans hard tickets from the game along with some Clemson gear. Not that he would ever wear the Clemson gear, but I thought it was a very cool gesture.

We went up for the Clemson / ND game a few years ago. We found them to be friendly, but not overly outgoing or necessarily welcoming. They didn't seek out engagement with other fans who did not come with them, at least as far as we could tell (we were all wearing the gear of our schools...mostly Wisconsin and Iowa State). It felt very family oriented, which was nice. The tailgate tents on the hills all around the stadium were cool, the town is nice, the views to the lake are cool. It's a great spot. We're planning to go to a South Carolina game this fall and I've heard it's the exact opposite.
