The rest of the owners should force the sale of the Texans to new people. It’s pretty clear no one with the last name McNair has any business running a team

Then it seemed like McCown was perfect for his position, as backup QB is basically an extra coach on most teams.

Which is why a lot of washout QBs don’t get another chance because they aren’t mature enough to fill this kind of role and they may not have the talent to justify being there otherwise.


As far as McCown and coaching goes, this should qualify him as a QB coach or possibly an offensive coordinator but not a head coach.
