Maybe. I think Danny Green would be the better option.

Danny Green is terrified to drive with the ball. He reminds me of those wide receivers who love the deep ball but won't dare go down the middle of the field.

2015 playoffs:
36.8‰ FG%
10.3 PER
.455 TS‰
Win share number is actually negative
Those are the numbers of an obvious above average player?

Yea and Redick is a regular Dwyane Wade.
Posted on 5/13/15 at 3:50 pm to TotesMcGotes
Redick has really improved. I've been very impressed with him this year. Dude has made tons of awesome plays inside. Obviously, he's no Wade, but when Redick drives, there is some fear from the defense. When Green drives, you can tell it's just an attempt to keep the defense honest. Nothing more.

For whatever reason it won't let me look up the stats on drives to the basket, but I feel like you have it backwards.
Posted on 5/13/15 at 3:58 pm to TotesMcGotes
I want to see them. I'm going completely off what my biased eye has seen, but the Spurs fans tend to agree that Green is terrible driving to the basket. Where as, in Clippers game threads, I find that many people are surprised at how well Redick makes things happen when he drives.

Good. I have some support if someone posts the stats, and I look like a complete idiot.

Well he has gone up against two top 5 defenses....

I'm on the iPad and it doesn't have flash. I'll have to look it up tonight when I get home.

LINK
If I'm using the NBA.com/stats site correctly:
Redick: 166 drives, 48.7% FG% on drives
Green: 161 drives, 39.7% FG% on drives
Also not sure if my link will pop up already filtered, but that's what I came up with.

So both drive and shoot about twice a game, Green just sucks at it.

Bingo. Stats support what I thought. Assists would be interesting too, although that does rely on shooting ability of teammates.

The TS% is alarming. But Crawford is a guy who can get your offense going when nothing is working. As a Rockets fan, I value a perimeter player that can score by himself, since we only have one on the whole roster.
I've even come to appreciate Lin more this year because I can see what we are missing without him. Instant offense guys are never efficient, but lots of guards would be WAY less efficient trying to do what they do.
This is what I've been saying for the longest time. We really need a Jamal Crawfod/JR Smith type scorer on this team. Hell, watching the Bulls in the playoffs made me realize how awesome it would be if Aaron Brooks was back on this team

Well I'll just go frick myself then.
