What irony? Had the Rockets lost the first page of the MSB would've been full of Rockets threads. They win, the trolls stay away. Pretty simple bro.

Yes they used it in the second half only when LAC was cutting into the lead. HOU was up 20, Clips got it down to 13 or 14 pretty quickly, HOU hacked Jordan and stopped the run. I don't think the lead ever got into single digits in the 2nd half.

Gotcha. I watched the Cavs game but skipped the Rockets game after that shite in game 4.

Same here(I did watch most of the 1st half), trying to pick and choose my spots on these late games, the east coast time zone isn't friendly for sports when you have 6am wake ups every morning.

Pop does it and he's a genius. There was just a thread on here recently praising him for it. "You can't hit your free throws, it's on you!!!"

Funny how the narrative has changed.

Happy to see this team not lay down. Fun game to watch for Rockets fans.

Hopefully that confidence carries over to Game 6.

I said it then that it was shitty. Hell I said this two days ago. I just think it's interesting how everyone is talking about how boring it is to watch (I said this in the Pop thread) now that the Rockets are involved. A few weeks ago the consensus around here was that it was a great strategy and that Deandre Jordan was to blame

No pathetic is when you hack a 75% FT shooter (See Hack-a-Brewer) last night. THAT screams desperation.

Yep. I said before he rules needed to be changed to stop this. Many people said "you're just saying that because you're a Rockets fan and nobody on the Rockets can shoot free throws!"

Well... Yes and no. I don't care that they can't shoot free throws. Being a Rockets fan, I've had to watch many games of this hack-a crap throughout the season, and it's boring and ridiculous.

Jordan shooting 43.8% (7-16) did not lose the game. He out-shot his team (41.8 FG%)

Redick, Crawford, Barnes and Rivers combining for 9-41 (22%) was the difference.

Well I guess you can figure out why lumping everyone into one group is silly.
