wow..i like that deal for both SAC and HOU.

Would HOU have enough firepower to obtain another top 10 pick to do the previous 3-way deal.

PG-Dragic
SG-Evans
SF-?
PF-Pau
C-Bynum

you have to like that if you are Houston, right?

Parsons at the 3.

I think they would likely flip Evans though.

They would do Evans for Lowry in a heart beat, and they would be a better team for doing it.
I agree they'd be better, they need a PG.

But Lowry's gone from being underrated to overrated.
And Evans went from being overrated to underrated. People talk about the guy like he's awful. 17/5/5 and he's only 22.

D. Howard is not going to Houston, FWIW

Howard is going to go to the team that the new Magic GM thinks offers the best deal. Houston is willing to trade for Howard without a guarantee of an extension.

I would like them to make the trade with Sac for Evans and 5, draft Drummon at 5 and Teague at 18.

David Aldridge ?@daldridgetnt
Told there is no way that Kings would do purported offer of Lowry/14/16 for Evans and five if it was even actually offered.

Kings aren't that dumb.

They can stay where they are and take Lillard if they want a PG, still giving themselves the option to trade Evans.

Assuming the SAC trade gets done, Rockets would still have 18th pick this year, Dallas 1st next year, Kevin Martin, Pattrick Patterson, Chandler Parsons, Marcus Morris, Dalembert, Montajunas and Sergio Llull to try and trade for another top 10 pick.

A source with knowledge of Howard’s thinking said Monday that there was “not a chance” he would be convinced to re-sign with Houston if traded there. Howard would leave during the summer of 2013 to sign elsewhere.

Is there a bigger bitch than Dwight?

i have always been a huge DH12 supporter, but id rather have the picks and a really young team than to roll the dice with this flake.

@AlexKennedyNBA Deron Williams had narrowed down his list to Brooklyn and Dallas. However, if Dwight Howard is traded to Houston, everything changes.

I'm going to love it if Houston manages to convert a bunch of mediocre players into a bunch of picks in the mid-teens to early twenties, don't manage to pull off any Howard deal/trade up, then convert those picks into a bunch of mediocre players. The cycle of being the vanilla ice cream of the NBA continues.

Then everything changes again when Dwight walks away from Houston in 12 months.

frick that. If Houston gets Dwight andd D Will, I hope Mark Cuban dies a slow, agonizing death

I know Houston isn't really a rival, but they are close in proximity and Cuban made a huge deal about throwing in the towel for 2011-12 to "save" up for the big free agents of 2012 (Dwight and Deron Williams)

Houston is definitely the lesser of evils.

if Houston getting Dwight and DWill means Dallas doesn't, I'm in.

plus as much as enjoy watching this young Rocket team now, if they had Dwight and Dwill. Those drunken 10 block walks from Toyota Center to my apartment will be golden.

Bynum - young and talented, but inconsistent and a headcase.
Gasol - aging and super fricking soft to begin with. if he's not feeling it one game, expect him to disappear the 2nd half.

Sounds like Howard and Scola. I don't think you very aware of who Scola is.

it's not like this will ever ever happen anyhow, but let's revisit this if it does a year from now and tell me your thoughts on pussy arse Gasol and inconsistent Bynum.
