quote:Yep. I remember espn ranking the first 100 world series 1 to 100 back in 2004 or so, and the bottom two were 1919 and 1994.
This will be brought up continuously through the end of time by fans of every other franchise.
It’s so funny how the Houston people think this will just blow over.
This is exponentially worse than both of those. We have a team who cheated to win, and we know they cheated to win, and we know that they weren't good enough to win without cheating. We've never known this for a fact before.

You're pretending hard not to melt. You were up in your feelz when the final broadcast ended, and now those feelings are sour, and you're in denial.
This is obvious, and nothing you will do or say will change this. You are melting, and it is glorious. The only thing you can possibly do to quell your melt is to completely ignore anyone saying anything bad about the Astros for the rest of your life. Anytime you respond to any of this, it is because you've melted. If you weren't melting, you wouldn't even notice this.
Prayers for your fee-feez.
Holy shite bro. Even if I was melting, I couldn't top this.

You've noticed, you've tried to resist, yet you've engaged and persisted.
It's because you're letting your feelings control your actions.
Starts with an M.

You keep citing this “1994 World Series” I can’t tell if you’re being serious or not
Posted on 2/13/20 at 1:03 pm to ShaneTheLegLechler
I simply won't believe that it's possible for you not to know why I am mentioning 1994 in context with 2017, which is exponentially worse.

That was a failure on the entire sport not related to one team. Canceling a large portion of one season including the postseason is the worst thing to happen to the sport and it still hasn’t (and won’t) totally recover.
If you’re simply trolling on it that’s fine but just try to improve
Absurd hyperbole makes what you’re trying to accomplish less impactful.

1919: A World Series won over a team who did not compete in good faith.
1994: No postseason.
2017: A World Series awarded to a team who did not compete in good faith.
2017 is the worst, followed by 1994, then 1919. Why?
1919: We can't say that the wrong team got a trophy, but we know that's a possibility.
1994: No trophy.
2017: We know for a fact that a team has a trophy that is not rightly theirs.
That's the worst of the three.

I’m just trying to help you out. You can do better than this, you need to recognize the need for improvement first though

Worse than the Black Sox. Literally throwing games + gambling
Just stop.

Yes, that's worse. It'll always be worse. It'll never not be worse. It will always be seen this way, and you'll always engage in conversations like this for the rest of your life.

I know there's some Yankee fans, knowledgeable and not, that think Altuve cheated them in their last game. I've even listened to MLBN experts talk about it and wonder how he could be so clutch vs Chapman.
I've rewatched that inning multiple times. Chapman threw 20 something pitches in that inning. Know how many FBs he threw for strikes?
One.
He was wild and couldn't get his FB over. 2-0 count to Altuve, he threw a slider middle, breaking slightly to inner half, because it was all he could get over and didn't want to go 3-0. Came back with same pitch, except it started outside corner breaking to middle.
Altuve was sitting on it because Chapman could not throw a FB strike.

How many threads you gonna post that gif in baw?
The whole Altuve jersey thing is so played out. Everybody knows the buzzer was around his scrotum to heighten the sensation. Better reaction time.

Still nobody will present the rule.
