That first pitch to Bergman looked a good 5 inches off the plate. That’s why he questioned it.

I tell you what. Tanaka gets a lot of help in his starts. Two balls hit pretty good but in bad spots and a favorable strike 1 call after walking Brantley. Changed bregman’s at bat for sure.
